2025 Annual Report
Inspiring a more sustainable & equitable world through innovative products
At GreenGear®, we recognize the responsibility we all have to interact with the environment in a more sustainable way. We’re on a mission to help outdoor events & venues switch to more sustainable products. To do so, we are dedicated to creating reimagined plastic products, such as bags and ponchos, that drive positive environmental and social impact, all without compromising on price or quality.

Our Commitments
At GreenGear®, we are dedicated to creating products that drive environmental and social impact, all without compromising on price or quality. To start, we designed and sell a rain poncho made from sugarcane ethanol.
We are a certified minority, woman-owned small business and 1% for the Planet members. From day 1 of our company, more than 1% of all revenue has been donated to environmental nonprofits. In 2022, we also became Green Sports Alliance members and in 2023, we made a stronger commitment to our social and environmental performance by becoming a B Corp-certified company. Now from 2024 onward, we are dedicated to continuous improvements. For 2025, we focused heavily on our supply chain.

Letter From CEO
To our fans, supporters, and partners:
In 2025, GreenGear continued to grow, innovate, and deepen our commitment to sustainability. We expanded our customer base, strengthened our organizational foundation, and took meaningful steps toward domestic manufacturing.
We welcomed major new partners including Live Nation and received a Golden Ticket designation from Walmart, significantly expanding our reach in the sports, events, and retail markets. We also developed cookie packaging, broadening our product portfolio into new sustainable applications, and made substantial progress on an improved EcoRain® Poncho, designed with circularity in mind, closing the loop on our flagship product's lifecycle.
A landmark milestone this year was securing a domestic manufacturing partnership in the United States. This collaboration gives customers faster deliveries and higher-quality products, while creating purpose-driven jobs for individuals with barriers to employment. We also completed a comprehensive legal overhaul, putting NDAs, an IP protection plan, and updated contracts in place, and added strategic advisors in impact value creation and legal to strengthen our governance.
This year also brought challenges. A complex macroeconomic environment meant that not all of our targets were fully met. However, we significantly grew our pipeline, improved our financial and operational resilience through supply chain diversification, and invested in our team's capabilities to set the stage for our next phase of growth.
We continued our sustainability commitments by offsetting carbon emissions for shipments, improving and standardizing our sustainability messaging, and contributing to helping customers build end-use programs. Since our founding, we have donated over $18,000 to nonprofits and environmental causes.
Looking ahead to 2026, we aim to sell 500,000 ponchos, scale domestic manufacturing, launch updated product designs, and deliver third-party verified impact metrics to our customers. We remain committed to transparency, continuous improvement, and creating lasting environmental and social impact.

As any other LCA, the results of the study rely on specific parameters, methodological choices, including assumptions and limitations.
Our Impact
We use the B Impact Assessment to assess our public benefit and find areas to improve. This is based on five impact categories: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers. Below, we highlight a few key sections. See the link to our full annual report for further detail.

Community
We partner with nonprofits to help better our communities. To date, we have donated over $18K, provided volunteer hours to nonprofit organizations, participated in speaking events, and allocated resources to provide free, online educational materials for sustainable practices. This year, we also piloted a program working directly with nonprofits to produce our products, building the foundation for larger scale manufacturing projects that create jobs for people with barriers to employment.

Environment
Synthesized environmental improvements and sustainability messagingOur products aim to protect and conserve the environment by optimizing their lifecycles. This year, we made meaningful progress on our improved EcoRain® Poncho, designed with circularity in mind and built to be biodegradable for bioconsumption. We also advanced our domestic manufacturing capabilities, reducing transportation emissions while creating purpose-driven jobs in the United States. Additionally, we improved our product designs to enhance reusability, developed plans to minimize waste across our supply chain, and standardized our sustainability messaging to make our environmental impact easier to understand and communicate.

Customers
We are committed to providing an exceptional and educational customer experience. We provide discounts to all nonprofits and small businesses to promote access to our products. This year, we expanded into new industry verticals including the music industry, improved our one-pagers and sales materials to make our products easier to understand, and increased in-person customer visits to strengthen relationships and gather direct feedback. We also contributed to helping customers build out end-use programs, so our products deliver measurable environmental benefit all the way through to the end user.
Looking Ahead

Looking ahead, we have ambitious goals for 2026, including:
Selling 500,000 ponchos by expanding our reach across the sports, large events, retail, tourist attraction, and music industry markets.
Scaling domestic manufacturing and creating more purpose-driven jobs in the United States through our manufacturing partnerships.
Providing customers with detailed end-use impact metrics (e.g., recycling rates, CO2 emissions, plastic displaced) through a third-party audit with the Golisano Institute.
Launching the improved EcoRain® Poncho, designed with circularity in mind and enhanced biodegradation features.
Updating our product designs, packaging, and website to help our products reach more people and communicate our impact more clearly.
