Made from sugarcane ethanol
The EcoShop Bag is made from >65% sugarcane ethanol. Through the use of carbon-negative sugarcane, our bags perform better for CO2 emissions, recyclability and reusability than traditional single-use paper, PLA and plastic bags.
Made in the USA
Our bags are produced domestically in California. Many of the raw materials for our bags are also sourced in the USA.
Includes sustainable ink options
For customizations on the EcoShop Bag we use low-VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) ink to make every part of our bags as sustainable as possible!
Landfill degradable
The EcoShop Bags biodegrade 86.4% over 856 days (~2.3 years). The bags are tested under conditions that simulate both wetter and biologically active landfills using the ASTM D5511 test.

Reusable & Recyclable
The EcoShop Bag is made for up to 125 reuses on average. The sugarcane-based plastic is strong and doesn't dissolve when it get's wet (it needs certain bacteria that are only present in landfill, ocean and soil)! Additionally, the bags can simply be recycled with other plastics!
FDA compliant material
The material used for our EcoShop Bags is approved by the FDA and is therefore safe for storage of food, beverages and drugs.
